The Fragrance Shop, the UK’s leading Independent Fragrance retailer is now recruiting for a Performance Marketing Executive to join the growing Digital team and be based out of our Head Office located at Trafford Park, Manchester.  

As a Performance Marketing Executive, you’ll support the growth of our e-commerce business by planning, executing, and optimising both paid media and SEO strategies. You’ll work across search engines and social media platforms to drive efficient traffic and conversions, while also growing our organic footprint through content, technical SEO, and on-site optimisation.

You will be part of a growing team which is being built on the back of huge and continued success. You will have the backing of the wider marketing team to make and shape the digital strategy with growth at the heart of everything you do. We are looking for the right person to really take this role and make it their own!

 

Key Responsibilities:

*       Develop and manage paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and emerging platforms

*       Optimise bidding strategies, creative, and audience targeting to maximise ROAS

*       Monitor daily spend, pacing, and performance KPIs including CTR, CPC, and conversion rate

*       Conduct A/B testing on ad copy, creative, and landing pages

*       Report on performance and share insights regularly with wider teams

*       Support the execution of SEO strategy including technical audits, keyword research, metadata optimisation, and on-page content improvements

*       Collaborate with the content team to align blog and landing page content with SEO priorities

*       Monitor site performance using tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Semrush

*       Support the creation of regular organic performance reports and recommendations

*       Work closely with the CRM, affiliates, and creative teams to align campaign messaging and seasonal priorities

*       Track and contribute to improving site-wide conversion performance

*       Keep up with industry trends, algorithm updates, and competitive benchmarks

 

Person specification:

Due to the specific skills and experience that we require candidates to have for this position, we will only be able to proceed forward with candidates who match our essential requirements stated below:

*       Highly organised, with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

*       Experience within digital marketing channels such as paid search or SEO

*       Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Search Console

*       Basic understanding of technical SEO and ability to use SEO tools

*       Excellent attention to detail, writing skills, and commercial awareness

*       Experience with feed management or product listing optimisation

*       Google Ads and Meta certifications

*       Knowledge of GA4 and Looker Studio reporting

*       Experience in e-commerce or retail preferred
