The Store Project & Facilities Manager will have responsibility for both store projects including exciting new retail formats and facilities management UK wide and sit within the property team.  This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager looking for the next step in their career within a fantastic business. 




Project Management

  • Project management of new retail formats, new store openings, closings, re-sites, store refits ensuring all works completed to our specifications and standards for The Fragrance Shop, Indulge and Store concessions
  • Ensuring the brand looks consistent across the estate and making continual improvements
  • Managing the Critical Path for all New Store Openings, and ensuring all departments deliver their tasks on time
  • Managing the refurbishment program across the estate as per the budget
  • Manage the project costs against approved budget and liaise with the CFO/CEO
  • Undertake store surveys
  • Prepare scope of works
  • Manage shop fitting tenders
  • Monitor the progress of works on site, conduct progress meetings and monitor costs
  • Instruct and manage external design consultants and external project managers where required
  • Identify ways to improve efficiencies in the store estate, and work within specified budgets
  • Identify new contractors to ensure we are paying competitive prices for works
  • Develop ways to improve the customer proposition
  • Manage the application for statutory consents
  • Manage the snagging of completed works and ensure they are completed within a timely manner
  • Any other duties as reasonably required


Facilities Management


  • Supporting and Managing the Property & Project Co-ordinator
  • Ensure compliance for all PPM works
  • Identify any problems/issues in store and co-ordinate requirements
  • Schedule and negotiate store facilities maintenance – cleaning, electrical, plumbing, shutters, fire protection systems etc and complete in a qualitative, cost effective and timely manner.
  • Review proposals for costs and timescales and present to Property Director/CEO for approval
  • Develop and maintain cost summary for all maintenance work, and work within allocated Budgets
  • Make regular store visits to review store condition and verify any store improvements
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with Contractors, Landlords, Store Managers and Head office teams

  • Drive and deliver all store projects – new retail formats, new store openings, closings, re-sites, store re-fits on time, and in budget in line with company growth strategy
  • Delivery of exceptional facilities management in store, on time and in budget




  • Proven experience in a similar role in the retail industry in a growing business
  • Experience in working within a fast paced cross functional team environment
  • Experience of working with/for an entrepreneur
  • Excellent IT skills – word, excel, PowerPoint, internet
  • Social media savvy
  • Professional and adaptable
  • Strong communication and negotiation ability
  • Strong decision making and innovative problem solving abilities
  • Sound judgement and good analytical ability
