We have ambitious growth plans and are looking for a National Account Manager who has the ability to communicate at all levels to forge long lasting positive relationships and be responsible for the full portfolio of our own and licensed brands and being second to none thus delivering profitable growth within your accounts based in the UK, whilst delivering new opportunities. You will utilise your negotiation, analytical and client relations management skills to help grow sales. 

 

About You: 

*       Experience of managing major retailers and having the ability to network with all departments. 

*       Strong trading experience and capable of spotting new opportunities. 

*       Become an expert of the account and the market(s) we operate in. 

*       Excellent sales, negotiation, planning and organizational skills. 

*       Business acumen and commercial awareness. 

*       Strong excel and analytical skills with the ability to manage and process data. 

*       Excellent verbal and written communication. 

*       Strong sense of brand and trade marketing. 

 

Business Planning: 

*       Review Company Reports to build an understanding of customer objectives and direction. 

*       Plan, develop, agree and implement an annual Joint Business plan with the specified customers with support from the rest of the team. 

*       Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

*       Have acute sense of sell-out and market share reporting whilst finding opportunities to move ahead of the market. 

 

Accountabilities: 

*       Review Company Reports to build an understanding of customer objectives and direction. 

*       Plan, develop, agree and implement an annual Joint Business plan with the specified customers with support from the rest of the team. 

*       Monitor, progress and review business plans with team and Customer Director activating contingency plans when needed. 

*       Manage Gross to net controls to optimise profitability of channel. 

*       Manage an investment plan alongside team to drive consumer awareness whilst maximising profitability. 

*       Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and provide rationale to Customer Director. 

*       Build strategic plans to deliver short and long term company, customer and consumer objectives. 

*       Develop strategic projects within the channel to ensure future growth of the business. 

*       Liaise with the relevant buying teams at the customer to maximise the trading relationship. 

 

Knowledge and Experience: 

*       A self-starter with a strong conviction and a bias for action. 

*       This role is perfect for a National Account Manager looking for the next opportunity to develop their career to the next level. 

*       Prior brand experience in cosmetic/fragrance industry is preferred but not essential. 

*       Communicates effectively, delivering impactful presentations and is able to negotiate and influence. 

*       Proficient Excel, numeracy and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. 

*       Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can manage cross functional relationships. 

*       Shows a strong sense of individual accountability and able to work with autonomy. 

*       Commercially aware with experience in P& L management, budget planning and customer management. 

*       Embraces and accelerates change in a fast-paced environment making innovation happen within real-life constraints. 

*       Creates a positive environment while remaining focused on priorities and tackling obstacles. 

*       Organises their own work and that of others, taking responsibility for the quality of all deliverables. 

*       Demonstrates a sense of urgency and knows when to act and when to wait.
