Join The Fragrance Shop, an industry leader in the fragrance retail sector. We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Flagship Manager to spearhead the development of our flagship concept, based at our flagship store on Oxford Street, London.

 

The Position:

As the Flagship Manager, you'll be the driving force propelling the success of our Oxford Street Flagship store and strategically expanding our concept to new locations. Your role is pivotal, guiding, and nurturing future Store Managers, leading the store team, and crafting an unparalleled customer experience.

 

The Store:

Our Oxford Street Flagship store is a 2500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art retail space designed to provide customers with a unique fragrance journey. With a focus on exceptional service and a gold star experience, this flagship is a testament to fragrance retail innovation and The Fragrance Shop's mission of helping customers Spray a Little Happiness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Commercial Performance:

o   Drive sales, hit targets, surpass KPIs, and control costs to ensure commercial success of the store.

o   Champion the consistent refinement and enhancement of operational processes.

 

2. Team Leadership and Development:

o   Manage and empower a high-performance team through coaching, training, and delegation.

o   Foster a culture of leadership excellence by mentoring and guiding Store Management teams.

 

3. Customer Experience:

o   Deliver exceptional customer experiences, maintain the highest FEEFO and Trustpilot customer review scores.

o   Resolve intricate customer queries with finesse and lead by example in customer service.

o   Spearhead innovative customer service trials and experiential executions.

 

4. Brand and Supplier Relationships:

o   Cultivate and nurture close relationships with brands and suppliers, acting as a brand ambassador for the brand.

 

5. Events and Marketing:

o   Orchestrate and oversee brand and promotional events at the flagship store.

o   Harness the power of social media to amplify the store's presence and engage with our cherished customers.

o   Implement a dynamic local marketing strategy to elevate the store's performance.

o   Lead and manage any strategic, events, trials and partnership or proposition testing within the store environment.

o   Working with brands/brand ambassadors on in store activations/events, launches etc.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

-          Multiple years of coaching and leadership experience, preferably as a Store Manager or Branch Manager in the Retail/Service industry.

-          Experience managing high-volume, fast-paced stores.

-          Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional communication, leadership, coaching, and customer service focus.

-          Financial acumen with commercial awareness impacting business knowledge.

-          Proven track record in sales and managing a large sales team.

-          Passion and knowledge of the fragrance industry.

-          Experience and knowledge of opening stores, store rollouts and new concept launches.
