We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified In-House Accountant to manage the Vadera family office finances, investments and bank cash management. The successful candidate will have a few years' experience working for a family office in an entrepreneurial environment and possess highest level of accounting qualifications.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of financial accounting and reporting for the family office
  • Work alongside other professional advisors (tax advisors & lawyers) to manage the office
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Maintain general ledger and ensure all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
  • Prepare annual budgets and cash flow projections
  • Review and manage investment portfolios, liaising with investment managers where appropriate
  • Monitor and analyse investment performance and prepare regular reports for family members
  • Manage bank accounts and cash management, including monitoring cash balances and reconciling accounts
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Prepare tax returns and manage all tax compliance issues
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Highest level of accounting qualifications (e.g. CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial management or accounting role, preferably in a family office or entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience in investment management and portfolio analysis
  • Working understanding of tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
