As Ecommerce Merchandiser & Trade Exec (Interim) you will assist the Ecommerce Manager & Senior Executive in the effective management of the website. This will include product launches, trade reporting and subsequent trading of the site, visually merchandising where appropriate and briefing in content and collections.

 

A key part of this role is to identify and implement opportunities to drive sales across all revenue generating areas of the website, analysing all aspects of the customer conversion funnel to maximise trading performance.

Responsibilities

  • Online Merchandising - ensure the site is optimised with relevant products

  • Monitoring key site metrics including Revenue, AOV, Conversion Rate, Bounce Rate, Traffic (new and returning) etc.

  • Ensuring the websites & channels are kept up-to-date with; correct offers, correct gift offers, updated banners, new in products/brands, regularly updated category pages.

  • Using analytics and our in-house reporting platform to gain a strong understanding of the customer journey to optimise sales, measure performance & define strategy.

  • Identify & optimise online customer journeys through the website, focusing on increasing the conversion funnel.

  • Work with buying teams to understand product positioning & target audiences. Feeding back into channel teams to refine plans.

  • Work with Marketing and wider teams on new products and campaigns.

  • Creative management - Ensure assets are available across the site & marketing channels for launches, merchandising imagery, events, marketing assets.

  • Optimising Products for the PDP with images and copy.

  • Cross collaboration with wider teams including CRM, Paid Social, Paid media, SEO, Social, Marketing and B&M.

  • Collaborate with the design & SEO team to build & optimise landing pages to enhance user experience.

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office

  • Basic understanding of HTML

  • Understanding of digital marketing principles, included SEO, PPC and Social Media Marketing

  • Basic understanding of Excel

  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skill
