We are expanding and are looking for a Merchandiser to join the team and be part of a growing and vibrant brand.
The role: This is a commercially focused Assistant Merchandiser role to support the Merchandising team on managing key supplier brands. You will work closely with the Merchandising team, Buying team, Account Managers and external brand partners.
You will be responsible for forecasting, stock and availability, while also acting as a strategic commercial partner to brand.
This role is ideal for an experienced Assistant Merchandiser who enjoys combining analytical rigour with commercial decision-making and brand collaboration.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Work alongside the Merchandising team to support in building relationships for supplier accounts, collaborating with brands and Account Managers to align forecasts, stock, ranging and commercial priorities.
- Alongside Merchandising team, support with supplier forecasts, replenishment, newness buys, stockholding, WSSIs, ranging and availability.
- Reviewing promotional performance and NPD performance with the Buying team.
- Reacting to sales and changes in the market, ensuring sales are maximised and KPIs are met.
- Support in quarterly range reviews.
What you’ll bring:
Essential:
- A proven/experienced Assistant Merchandiser.
- Analytically minded and commercially aware.
- Excellent communication skills, highly organised with strong Excel ability.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred but not essential:
- Experience within a fast-paced Beauty/Retail/FMCG environment.
- Exposure and experience managing a large store estate.
